Meet the Jules Fern Events Team

Meet the Jules Fern Events Team

We craft one-of-a-kind weddings that reflect who you are and what matters most to you. Whether we're planning your entire wedding or designing stunning florals that bring your vision to life, our goal is always the same: to make you feel seen, cared for, and celebrated.

Hi, I'm Julie!

I'm a laid-back, goofy, people-loving creative who gets excited about designing beautiful, meaningful moments and making the whole planning process feel way less stressful and way more fun.

Every part of your wedding day, the details, the energy, the joys, should feel like your truest selves as you celebrate with your people.

I love people.
I love connection.

I love the challenge of weaving logistics and creativity together in a way that gives you space to fully settle into the excitement of being engaged and soak in the joy of your wedding day.

Outside of weddings, I love quality time with my husband, girls' nights with deep conversations and laughter, asking people what their Enneagram is (mine is 9w1, btw), and any excuse to rewatch Harry Potter. I'm passionate about people and relationships, and I bring that same energy to the way I serve my clients.

This business is a second-generation legacy. I grew up surrounded by flowers, design boards, and behind-the-scenes wedding moments. My mom spent over 35 years as a florist and 5 years as a wedding coordinator. When I stepped in to continue what she built, I brought my own creative eye and love for people while honoring everything she taught me about serving couples well.

And while I lead every wedding with that same heart and care, I'm so grateful to work alongside a team who shares that commitment to making your day unforgettable.

Sarah

Lead Coordinator

Sarah is originally from Dunlap, Tennessee, but now lives in Georgia with her husband. She has been with Jules Fern Events since the very beginning! She’s sarcastic (thanks to growing up with two older brothers), hilarious, and the kind of person who will bend over backwards to make people happy. On wedding days, she’s your best friend and genuinely lights up when she gets to make someone’s day better. When she’s not at a wedding, she’s diving into a good book, obsessing over Harry Potter, or hanging with her favorite chicken, McNuggets.

Enneagram 2

Wedding Day Alter Ego: The Master Altruist — she anticipates needs before you speak them, and your drink will never be empty.

Julie

Assistant Coordinator

Julie is a military spouse and mom of two who loves faith, family, and adventure. She has lived in many amazing places across the country, including Hawaii! Being away from home taught her how valuable it is to celebrate life’s big moments. That’s why she loves weddings! When she’s not with her kids and all their activities, you can usually find her at Bible study, listening to rock music, or out on the trails in her Jeep.

Enneagram 2

Wedding Day Alter Ego: The Problem Solver — wind, rain, or missing items won’t rattle her; she stays calm in the storm and fixes what needs fixing.

Maddie

Assistant Coordinator

Maddie was born and raised in South Orange County, California but recently made the move to Franklin, Tennessee. She grew up in a soccer- loving household, where the passion for the sport (go Liverpool FC!) was a big part of her daily life. In addition to her love for sports, she has a deep passion for weddings. Maddie finds so much joy in seeing a couple’s big day come to life and witnessing the excitement on their faces as their visions come to life.

Enneagram 2

Wedding Day Alter Ego:  The Fixer — give her a challenge and she’ll solve it on the spot, even if it means sewing a suit back together.

Abi

Assistant Coordinator & Content Creator

Abi and her husband live in Chattanooga with their dog, Maple. If she’s not coordinating a wedding with us, she might be behind the camera capturing it. As part of the Jules Fern team, Abi helps run our behind-the-scenes content on wedding days in addition to assisting with coordination. She also owns her own content creation business, so she is almost always creating something beautiful. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her with a book in hand, a coffee nearby, or crocheting something cozy.

Enneagram 2

Wedding Day Alter Ego: Miss Adaptive — she seamlessly steps in wherever needed without missing a beat.

Angela

Assistant Coordinator

Angela is a Chattanooga native with an eye for design and a love for events! After graduating from MTSU in 2024, she started working as an event manager at a local venue, where she fell in love with weddings. Outside of that, she is a violinist, seamstress, former bartender, and mom of two cats!

Enneagram 6

Wedding Day Alter Ego: The Bustle Extraordinaire — whether it’s three points or twenty ties, she will get that gown secured.

Maddy

Floral Assistant

Maddy is from Dunlap, Tennessee, but lives in Chattanooga with her husband and baby girl. She grew up on a farm and started her love of flowers and plants by working in her mom’s many gardens. Maddy’s favorite part of a wedding is the excitement and last-minute hustle and bustle of getting everything perfect for the big day. She loves seeing how each vendor and element of the wedding comes together to create a stunning and unique experience.

Enneagram 9

Wedding Day Alter Ego: The Detail Queen — every ribbon tail is trimmed, every stem faces forward, and every petal is fluffed like it’s going to be photographed.

We don't believe in copy-paste weddings.

We craft moments that reflect your story in a bold, genuine way. No two love stories are the same, and your wedding shouldn't be either.

Floral Design

I believe that how we serve matters just as much as what we create. My faith shapes how I care for my clients, how I show up for your day, and the love and excellence I pour into every detail. This is more than just a business, it's a calling.

And while I care deeply about the florals, the timeline, and the linens (you know I do), I also know a truly unforgettable wedding is about the people and the love. The feeling of laughing on the dance floor with your favorite aunt. The moment your parents tear up. That's what lasts. That's what we honor.

It's such a joy and blessing to do what I do, and I'd be honored to do it with you.
